Virtual Reality of the Montana State Capitol

Explore Montana’s Capitol in Virtual Reality

In 2013 we captured this huge virtual tour of the Montana State Capitol building in Helena, MT.

Montana has a stunning Capitol Building with a massive copper dome over the rotunda. It has very colorful murals, statutes, and tile work throughout that tell the story of Montana with breathtaking beauty. The building was completed in 1912, made with sandstone, granite, and copper mined right here in Montana. The Greek neoclassical architecture delivers an awe inspiring experience, perfectly showing off the majesty of the Big Sky State.

The beautiful rotunda, legislative chambers and all the wonderful grounds can be explored in full, high definition, interactive imagery right on Google Street View and VR headsets. Check it out on your mobile phone or tablet to get the full immersive effect when you rotate your device.   Navigate to through the legislative chambers and even the Governor’s office. You can even read the plaques on the exhibits and statues.
