In a follow up from an the article they wrote in September about Google’s new Business Virtual Tours appearing in Maps, Tech Crunch wrote a new article about Virtual Tours now appearing prominently in search results. Until just recently, the virtual tour was displayed in the Google Local page for that business but now, it appears just to the right of the search results if the business has a virtual tour.

Google Now Highlights Its Indoor Street View Imagery On Search Results Pages

Interestingly, in the article they call the virtual tours, Indoor Street View Imagery. That’s the first time I’ve read the virtual tours being called that, but it’s a really good, descriptive name for it.
